TOO SALTY

Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

TOO SALTY is a game for iPhone. This policy explains what it does with your information. The short version: it collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing.

TOO SALTY has no account system, no sign-up, no login, and no analytics service. It does not ask for your name, your email address, your phone number, your location, your contacts, your photos, or anything else about you.

There is no advertising in TOO SALTY, no advertising identifier is read, and nothing about you is sold or shared with anyone.

The app does not use the microphone, the camera, motion sensors, notifications or the network. There is no code in it that makes a network request of our own.

What stays on your phone

The app saves a few things so the game works. All of it is stored inside the app’s own private storage on your device, and none of it is transmitted:

You can erase all of it at any time: Settings → ERASE PROGRESS. That removes the saved file from your device. Deleting the app removes it too.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, TOO SALTY submits your best score for a full run to a public leaderboard so it can be ranked against other players, and reports a small number of achievements.

That submission is made by Apple’s GameKit framework, under your own Game Center account, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy rather than by this one. We do not receive, store or process it; we ask GameKit for the leaderboard and display what it returns. Your Game Center nickname is what other players see — never anything else about you.

If you are not signed in to Game Center, or you decline it, the whole game still works. Your score is saved on your phone and the leaderboard screen says plainly that it has nothing to show.

Only runs played from Level 1 are submitted. A run resumed part-way is saved on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Children

TOO SALTY is rated 9+ on the App Store, collects nothing, and contains no advertising and no links to social networks. It offers one optional auto-renewing subscription, bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details, and the app does not send us anything about your subscription. It has no chat, no user-generated content and no way for players to contact one another.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because the app collects nothing, we do not expect it to.
