TOO SALTY
Last updated 27 September 2026
TOO SALTY is a game for iPhone. These terms cover what you may do with it and what it promises you. There is not much to it, because the app asks almost nothing of you.
A game. That’s all.
TOO SALTY is a single-player game: twenty-three levels across three Waters, with a Rage Boss who turns up and eats your catch. It is rated 9+.
The full game adds Levels 12–23, every world in THE ABYSS beyond GLACIER, and new places and levels as they are added. It is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, with two plans: monthly ($1.99 a month) or yearly ($9.99 a year), in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your own currency before you confirm. Either plan unlocks the same content, and you only ever need one.
Anyone who downloaded TOO SALTY from the App Store while the whole game was free keeps the whole game, without subscribing.
If any of that ever changes, these terms change first, and the date at the top changes with them.
You may install TOO SALTY on the devices your Apple Account allows and play it for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. That permission is a licence to use the app, not a transfer of ownership: the game, its code, its artwork, its sounds and its names remain ours.
Please do not:
TOO SALTY collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere. Your progress, high score and settings are saved in the app’s own private storage on your device, and you can erase all of it at any time from Settings → ERASE PROGRESS.
The Privacy Policy is the full account, and it is part of these terms.
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game submits your best score for a full run to a public leaderboard. That submission is handled by Apple under your own Game Center account, and your use of Game Center is governed by Apple’s terms rather than ours.
Other players see your Game Center nickname and your score. Nothing else about you is published. If you are not signed in, or you decline Game Center, the whole game still works.
TOO SALTY™ is our trademark. The game and everything in it — the levels, the artwork, the fish, the Rage Boss, the code, the sounds — are original works and are protected by copyright.
You are welcome to stream TOO SALTY, record it, screenshot it and post about it, including on channels you earn money from. Please credit it as TOO SALTY™. What you may not do is pass the game or its artwork off as your own, or use our names or artwork to promote something that is not ours.
We have tested TOO SALTY and we want it to work, but it is offered without a warranty: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, free of every bug, or compatible with every device or future version of iOS. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it — including lost game progress.
Nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you. Where those rights conflict with anything above, those rights win.
TOO SALTY is distributed through the App Store. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy, and where it and these terms genuinely conflict, Apple’s agreement governs.
Apple is not a party to these terms, does not sponsor or endorse the game, and is not responsible for it or for supporting it. Support requests should come to us, not to Apple.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the current version always lives at this address. Continuing to play after a change means the new terms apply.
